About
My research lies at the intersection between social and clinical psychology. Specifically, I am interested in prejudice, interventions to reduce prejudice, and in mental illness stigma in particular. I identify as both a clinical and a social psychologist, with equal passion.
I am currently an assistant professor at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.
I love teaching and enjoy using pedagogies that are applied, creative, and involving emotions to heighten learning.
I completed my predoctoral APA-approved internship at the UT Counseling Center. My clinical interests include: GLBT issues, mood disorders, trauma, and community intervention.
